Track 23: 2008

Heylo.

Well, 2008 is almost over.
Just a few hours left.
2008 has been a blast.
Lots of bonding, lots of drama,
Lots of suspense, lots of stress,
Loads of fun, loads of work,
and definitely loads of love.
All in all, yet another wonderful year.

I can boldly say
This is probably my last post of the year.
Au re voir 2008

P.S: Congrats to all PMR scorers.

Track 22: Christmas

What is Christmas?
Define Christmas.
Put Christmas down in words.

Is Christmas a holiday?
Or is Christmas a celebration?
Is it a second?
A minute?
Or even an hour?
Could it be just a day?
Maybe a month?
Or just a season?
May it be the birthday of the saviour?
Or just a time of recognition?

What's there on Christmas?
Christmas Tree?
Sun or snow?
Lights and Sound?
Decorations and Ornaments?
Decked halls of holly?
Snowmen or rain deers?
Carols and dances?
Or just Santa and his sleigh?

What does Christmas mean?
Waiting for the clock to strike twelve?
Alone or with family?
With friends or a crowd?
To be with company?
Or by yourself?
To be jolly and merry?
Or to be calm and at peace?

Does Christmas mean giving?
Sharing and caring?
Gifts and presents?
Toys and stuff?
A sign of appreciation?
Or just in the moment?
Just out of generosity?
Or to see the smile on happy faces?
A new experience?
Or reliving the days?

To some, Christmas means celebration.
Going out and having fun.
Good food and lots of drinks.
Barbecues and buffets.
Parties and discos.
Blinding lights and booming music.
Packed rooms and crowded floors.
Shouting and singing.
Full of dancing.

To others, Christmas means company.
Just to be with the family.
Or even some friends.
Sitting by the fire side.
By the warmth.
By the glow.
Hot chocolate and turkey.
Chatting and laughing.
Sharing and stories.
Or in front of the TV.
Pizza and coke.
Corn chips or nachos.
CD's and tapes.
Series or movies.
Falling asleep.
Or not sleeping at all.

Some may think Christmas is freedom.
Snowball fights and snow angels.
Playing with toys.
Watching cartoons.
Sleeping in or staying up late.
Chocolate, candy and sweets galore.
A break from work.
A break from school.
Going out or staying at home.
No care in the world.
Nothing to worry about.

Many think Christmas is love.
Dinner dates and meet up lunches.
Hugs and kisses.
Mistletoe.
Holding hands.
Eyes to eyes.
Or just being in each others arms.
Walking out in the snowy streets.
Or covering up in blankets.
Loving and being loved.

What is Christmas?
Christmas has...
No limits, boundaries.
No rights, no wrongs.
Christmas...
No matter...
Who you are,
Where you are,
What you do,
How you do it,
Christmas is just Christmas.

This post sounds kinda cliche.
But, hey! I've been enlightened.
My very own simple Christmas life experience.

Track 21: History

Heylo.

And gosh. It's been awhile since I last blogged.
Not saying that I've been busy or anything.
Holiday's been on the slow and easy side.
Simple outings and stuff like that.

Social gatherings, bond strengthening sessions and etc.
I shall include chatting online to the list.
These were fun.

Other than that, there's nothing to rant or rave about.

Except....

The main highlight of my holidays....

HOLIDAY TO SIAM REAP, CAMBODIA!

Now that was really fun.
Left at the break of dawn last Friday.
Touched down back home at noon today.

This trip was rockin coolios.
Went with my family, and my godsis' family and some other friends.
Visiting Angkor Watt and ruined temples.
Feasting eyes on the everlasting floating village and Tonle Sap.
Not to forget, experiencing new food.

Those were definitely rockin coolios.
Especially setting foot on a piece of history.
Fantabulastic.

Got myself a 'Er Wu' looking instrument too.
Though everytime I play it,
It makes sounds as though I'm beheading a chicken.
Gots to work on that.
At least I can play 'Mary Had A Little Lamb' on that shrieking chicken sound emmiter.

I've got a rockin coolios new favourite word to.
SPORANGIUM!
Say it with me.
Spor-An-Ji-Um
It just tickles my mouth everytime I say that.

Lastly, before I go...
A lil advice from a currently cranky amigo...
To whoever wants it...

Everything has it's limits.
Keep a look out for it.
And STAY within it.
You'll do yourself a favour.

Thanks for listening.
Tune in again.

Signing out.
